Vidyut Jammwal is back to his action antics, entertaining on the silver screen as ‘Commando 3’ released on Friday. The popular action franchise seems to have struck a chord with the audience as it opened with a good figure of Rs 4.25 crore on its first day. And on its second day, ‘Commando 3’ gathered momentum and registered a positive growth.
According to a report on Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Commando 3’ has collected Rs 5.75 crore on its second day. The film collection has not registered a drop in mass circuits and has worked well for the collection. In cities like Bihar and CP Berar, ‘Commando 3’ collected the same figure in single screen as it did on the first day. If the positive trend continues on Sunday for ‘Commando 3’, then the film will emerge as the first success for the action franchise with regards to theatrical business.

‘Commando’ and ‘Commando 2’ have worked well on the TV and had managed to reach Rs 25 crore nett mark in terms of box office collection. But going by its two day total of Rs 10.50 crore, ‘Commando 3’ could well set a new box office benchmark for the franchise.
Dev Patel and Anupam Kher’s ‘Hotel Mumbai’ also registered a positive growth of around 75 per cent but had a dull Friday at the box office. The film collected Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday and stands at a total collection of Rs 2.75 crore in two days.
