Vidyut Jammwal is back in his fit and fighting form in the high octane action film ' Commando 3'. The movie, which hit the theatres on Friday, has been holding strong at the box office well into its first week. The film that collected an estimated Rs 18.50 crore nett on its first weekend, reportedly saw a 30-35% drop from Friday's collections to register an estimated Rs 3 crore- Rs 3.25 crore on Monday.

According to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com, the good Monday earnings has pushed the total collections to an estimated Rs 21.50 crore nett. Trade experts are now predicting that the film could just be chasing the 30-crore mark by the end of this week. Apparently, these numbers are far better than any other 'Commando' film thus far.

'Commando 3' collected Rs 4.25 crore nett approximately on its opening day which was similar to the collections of its first film.
Speaking about the film, director Aditya Dhar stated that 'Commando 3' will raise the bar for action films in India with as many as six high octane action scenes. The filmmaker also added that they have a bike chase scene on the streets of London, a gun fight and stunts in a rustic akhada. There's also a lot of novelty in the way it has been designed and executed.

The film has one week to enjoy its run at the box office before it faces competition from Arjun Kapoor's 'Panipat' and Kartik Aaryan's 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'.

'Commando 3' also stars Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar and Gulshan Devaiah.
